Meet Dave

I am a Martinsburg native and being brought up in our community, I have always been involved with various charities and organizations to assist the people of the Eastern Panhandle.

I have graduated from military schools and have attended Shepherd College, Alderson Broaddus College in Phillipi, WV, Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, The University of Southern California in Los Angeles and The University of California Los Angeles.

I am a Navy Veteran and former Navy Hospital Corpsman "Doc"; after the military I have worked at various private hospitals and Medical Centers in the laboratory before being employed with the Federal Government at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Martinsburg. I have served our Veteran's as a Federal Employee in this capacity for over thirty-seven years. Have also served as a Union Representative with the Local National Association of Government Employees at the Veteran's Administration to aid and also serve Veteran Administration Employees in any way possible.
I believe in giving back and have been honored to serve The Veteran's of our Country for so many years. I have also been licensed through the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services in California.

I currently am a member and serve on the Board of Director's of the Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce. I also hold memberships in the American Legion, Veteran's of Foreign Wars, Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elk's and Moose International as well as being a Notary Public.

A past member of the Martinsburg Lion's Club, Tuscarora Ruritan Club, Kawanis Club, Eagles Lodge, and Appalachian Trail Club.

I enjoy various activities including Photography, White Water Rafting, and a general love for the outdoors, as well as Skydiving (yes, I have done that many times :)

I would be honored to serve as your Berkeley County Magistrate for our local community.
